We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Broker Dispatcher to coordinate and manage transportation operations efficiently. In this vital role, you will serve as the communication hub between carriers, drivers, and internal teams, ensuring timely delivery of freight and optimal fleet utilization. You'll be the key connector between carriers, shippers, and internal teams, driving forward our commitment to reliable and timely freight delivery.

Duties

• Speaking with carriers and customers to resolve challenges or requests.
• Keeping accurate records of customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, and expenses for services performed.
• Working closely and collaboratively with the Broker Dispatch team.
• Able to provide support to carriers, drivers, and customers.
• Communicate effectively with carriers, drivers, and interal teams via multi-line phone systems, email, text, while maintaining professional phone etiquette.
• Proactive with reviewing next day and current later afternoon schedule to make appropriate revisions such as drivers schedules to maximize efficiencies.
• Handle in-bound phone calls in a fast-paced environment.
• Plan loads and routes for company drivers/trucks.
• Book loads, issue load confirmations, and manage all shipment documentation
• Prospect and develop relationships with new carriers through researching, cold calling, networking, and relationship management
• Dispatch drivers to their next location.
• Monitor loads and be in communication with carriers, drivers, and customers.
• Troubleshoot delays, breakdowns, and other challenges that may arise.
• Keep notes, logs, and dispatch systems up to date.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
