Job Summary:
The Broker Relations Lead oversees key broker partnerships, manages daily broker activities and ensures strong service delivery. The role serves as a senior point of contact for brokers, handles complex cases, supports junior staff and facilitates effective coordination between brokers, clients and internal teams to promote the company’s TPA solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Relationship Management & Team Guidance
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with strategic and high-value brokers and partners.
- Act as a senior point of contact for complex broker inquiries, escalations and service issues.
- Guide and support Broker Relations Officers in managing daily broker communications and requests.
- Ensure consistent communication and high service standards across all broker interactions.
- Support onboarding of new brokers and ensure alignment with company processes and expectations.
2. Business & Operational Support
- Lead coordination of onboarding and renewal processes for corporate clients through broker channels.
- Ensure timely and accurate handling of broker requests through close coordination with Underwriting, Claims, Operations and Finance teams.
- Monitor service levels and turnaround times related to broker activities and recommend improvements.
- Support the development and implementation of broker engagement strategies.
3. Market & Sales Support
- Participate in broker meetings, client presentations and strategic discussions.
- Collect and analyze broker feedback, competitor insights and market trends.
- Support business development initiatives by promoting healthcare TPA services and identifying growth opportunities.
- Assist in driving sales retention and portfolio growth through strong broker collaboration.
4. Reporting, Quality & Compliance
- Review and maintain accurate records of broker interactions, quotations and agreements.
- Prepare and review periodic performance and activity reports related to broker relations.
- Monitor compliance with company policies, contractual obligations and insurance regulations.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements to management.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, Healthcare Management or related field.
- 6–9 years of experience in broker relations, account management, insurance sales support or TPA operations.
- Strong understanding of healthcare insurance products, broker channels and TPA services.
- Experience handling corporate clients, renewals and policy administration processes.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to guide and support team members without direct managerial authority.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Good analytical and reporting skills.
- High level of professionalism and customer service orientation.
