Bronchoscopy Assistant

• Equipment Management: Setting up, cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining fiberoptic bronchoscopes, cameras, and, if necessary, rigid, straight, hollow metal tubes.
• Procedure Assistance: Assisting bronchoscopists with procedures, including maneuvering equipment and handling tools.
• Patient Care: Preparing patients for procedures, including positioning (e.g., supine with head support), monitoring, and providing support.
• Specimen Handling: Collecting, labeling, and processing specimens during biopsies or bronchoalveolar lavage.
• Safety and Infection Control: Strict adherence to sterilization protocols for equipment to prevent contamination.
