Brunch Server Assistant

The Brunch Server Assistant at Craig’s Nashville is an essential part of the service team, responsible for supporting servers and maintaining a clean, well-prepared dining environment. This role requires awareness, speed, and a deep sense of teamwork. Bussers help create a seamless experience for guests by resetting tables quickly, refilling water and bread, and anticipating needs before they’re spoken.

Key Responsibilities

· Clear and reset tables quickly, quietly, and thoroughly after guest departure.

· Support servers with water refills, bread service, and table maintenance during service.

· In the event that the server isn’t present – you will respond and carry out all guest requests.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, including floors, service stations, and glassware.

· Assist with opening and closing duties including polishing silverware and setting tables.

· Move with urgency while always staying composed and guest-aware.

· Communicate clearly and respectfully with teammates throughout service.

Qualifications & Experience

· Previous experience in a support role in a high-volume restaurant preferred.

· Strong teamwork and communication skills.

· Ability to stay organized and proactive during busy shifts.

· Reliable, punctual, and focused on high standards of cleanliness and service.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

· Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and carry for the duration of the shift.

· Comfortable moving quickly and lifting up to 50 lbs.

· Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.

· Collaborative environment requiring strong attention to detail and timing.
