BU NW Product Technology Manager

Context & Core Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relevant tools/procedures between COE, industrialization, QC, procurement while ensuring that necessary knowledge is transmitted/acquired by the respective team
• Monitor the progress of technology transfer for each item; validate industrial batches, monitor customer validation when relevant (specific product or specific customers); address issues to technology and provide recommendations to local teams
• Assist production in QC, industrialization, product validation & process optimization; conduct investigations or tests to solve production and quality issues
• Manage projects in the transfer of productions and/or processes in coordination with overall project plans
• Cooperate and provide technical support within supply chain management for new raw material introduction, recipe setting & adaptations, setting of specifications
• Organize management of QC retained samples (SAP records, storage, labeling)
• Check similarity between process and process parameters (pressure, temperature, time) of different production steps: Premix/Milling/Post blending/Filling
• Coordinate technology transfer and information within the Siegwerk Group
• Design tracking documents for recording the status of transfer for each reference (recipe, sample, specs, industrial tests 1/2/3, COE validation when needed)
• Analyze gaps, identify root causes as well as solve issues locally in direct alignment with Technology team in CO.
  
  

Qualifications/Competences

• University degree (e.g. preferably Chemical Engineering)
• Min. 5 years progressive experience in relevant field
• SAP knowledge
• Knowledge of dispersion/milling processes and systems
• Experience with Change Management
• Excellent leadership skills and experience with communicating across different business levels & cultures
• Fluent in English / International experience
