Bubbly & Energetic Family Experience Host (Weekends Required)

About The Role

We are hiring energetic, outgoing, people-first personalities to lead joyful, fast-paced family experiences in our studio.

This role is perfect for someone who loves working with kids, connecting with parents, and bringing warmth, humor, and confidence into a room. If you’ve worked in childcare, camps, sales, hospitality, theater, retail, coaching, or customer-facing roles, you may be an excellent fit.

This is not a traditional photography or editing job. You do not need camera experience. We provide full paid training on all technical skills. In fact, this role is often best suited for people without prior photography experience who are excited to learn our proven system.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Hosting fun, upbeat studio sessions for families and children (ages 6 months+)
• Engaging kids through play, humor, and connection to spark real smiles and laughter
• Helping parents feel relaxed, confident, and cared for throughout their visit
• Confidently guiding families through a structured, high-energy experience
• Setting up and breaking down studio backdrops and props
• Working closely with teammates to keep sessions running smoothly and on time
• Supporting a consistent, welcoming, family-friendly studio environment

Schedule Requirements

• Part-time: 22 hours per week across 4 days
• Availability to work Saturday mornings 9am - 2pm (required)
• Availability to work one of the following shifts: Friday 3pm - 8pm, Sunday 9am - 2pm, or 3pm - 8pm
• Must be able to commute to Folsom, CA

Pay: $16.90 - $30.00 per hour

• Are you willing to start at $20 per hour as the starting base rate (after an initial training period of $16.90 per hour)? Note that after bonuses, tips, and commissions, many photographers make $26 to start all-in.
• If hired, do you agree not to operate your own portrait photography business or take on other commercial portrait photography work while employed at LaLa Photography Sacramento?
