Budget Coordinator/Accountant II - City of Woodbury

The primary objective of this position is to assist in maintaining the budgeting processes of the City and contribute to various accounting functions. Primary duties include assisting in budget and capital improvement plan development and implementation, ensuring the accuracy of accounting procedures, and providing assistance to the Assistant CFO/Budget Manager and Chief Financial Officer/Controller as directed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Four-year Accounting degree.Three years accounting experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with the preparation and analysis of financial statements.Experience with City budget and capital improvement plan development and implementation.Government accounting experience.CPA certificate holder, CPA licensed or Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO) through GFOA.Learn and apply: https://www.woodburymn.gov/
