Budgeting & Planning Manager

This is a high-impact role designed for a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between creative hospitality and rigorous financial discipline. You won’t just be managing spreadsheets; you will be the primary architect of our financial roadmap, ensuring that every ambition we have for our brand is backed by a sustainable and profitable plan.

Your Strategic Mandate

• The Blueprint: Lead the annual bottom-up budgeting process across all departments, ensuring alignment with La Ermelina’s long-term growth objectives.
• Dynamic Forecasting: Develop and maintain sophisticated rolling forecasts that allow the business to pivot effectively in response to market shifts.
• Variance Mastery: Conduct monthly "deep-dives" into performance versus budget, providing the executive team with the "why" behind the numbers and clear action plans for optimization.
• Capital Allocation: Oversee the CAPEX planning process, evaluating the ROI on new site acquisitions, renovations, and technological investments.
• Operational Partnership: Act as a strategic advisor to department heads, helping them understand their cost drivers and empowering them to manage their budgets with ownership.
• Process Innovation: Implement advanced planning tools and integrate financial data with operational KPIs to create a 360-degree view of business health.

Who You Are

• The Professional: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. A professional qualification (CPA, CMA, or CFA) is highly desirable.
• The Expert: You have 8–12 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years focused specifically on budgeting and strategic planning. Experience in F&B, Hospitality, or Retail is preferred.
• The Technical Wizard: You are a master of financial modeling and have significant experience with ERP systems and specialized budgeting software (e.g., Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, or advanced Power BI).
• The Strategist: You have the ability to think three steps ahead. You identify risks before they materialize and opportunities that others overlook.
• The Communicator: You possess the executive presence to present complex financial strategies to stakeholders and the interpersonal skills to collaborate across diverse teams.
