Budtender

Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Marijuana Budtender to join our team who must be 21 years of age or older. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while guiding them through their cannabis purchasing experience. Your expertise in product knowledge, retail sales, and customer service will help create a welcoming environment for all patrons.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting cannabis products based on their needs and preferences.
• Provide product demonstrations and educate customers about different strains, consumption methods, and effects and also non- cannabis products plus accessories .
• Utilize POS systems for processing transactions, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate sales records.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and maximize sales as per customer requests and customer needs .
• Maintain a clean and organized display of products through effective merchandising and stocking practices.
• Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Address customer inquiries with professionalism and provide excellent phone etiquette when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the retail environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, ideally within the grocery store or cannabis industry.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and understanding retail math concepts.
• Supervising experience is a plus for those looking to take on leadership roles in the future.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse clientele.
• Familiarity with product demos, merchandising techniques, and stocking procedures is advantageous.
