Builder and Set Up Tech

Overview:
We’re seeking a hands-on, proactive Builder & Setup Technician to support the fabrication, staging, and installation of custom trade show exhibits, branded environments, and experiential activations. This hybrid role serves as a key link between creative vision and physical execution. Constructing high-quality builds in the shop while also preparing, organizing, and deploying exhibit assets for show floor success. Working closely with Creative, Client Services, and Production teams, you’ll help ensure projects are executed efficiently, details are managed carefully, and every build transitions seamlessly from fabrication to final setup in the fast-paced world of live events and production.

We’re a team of creatives, strategists, and builders who believe great work starts with strong relationships and smart thinking. In this role, you’ll be able to work with leading brands, craft meaningful experiences, and shape the future of trade show marketing. We support growth, reward hustle, and celebrate wins—big or small.

Job Description:

This hybrid role combines hands-on exhibit fabrication with warehouse operations and show-site setup. Reporting to the Production Build Manager, you will transform approved creative concepts and engineering drawings into high-quality finished builds while also supporting freight preparation, inventory management, and installation logistics.

As a Builder and Set Up Tech, you’ll collaborate with Creative and Client Services teams to execute projects on time and on budget, using strong technical skills and a solutions-focused mindset to bring renderings to life. As a Builder & Setup team member, you’ll prepare, stage, operate a forklift, and support on-site installations and dismantles when required.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented craftsperson who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. You take pride in delivering “what you see is what you get” results from design through fabrication and setup, have a solid understanding of trade show and exhibit environments, and possess strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
