Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities. This position involves a variety of tasks related to commercial cleaning, custodial duties, and facilities maintenance. The Care Specialist will ensure that all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for both staff and visitors.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in both commercial and residential settings.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all areas by conducting thorough inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
• Carry out custodial duties such as restroom sanitation, trash removal, and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Engage in industrial cleaning tasks that may involve specialized equipment or techniques to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Execute floor care responsibilities including buffing and polishing surfaces to maintain their integrity and appearance.
• Support porter duties by ensuring that common areas are tidy and organized throughout the day.
• Collaborate with team members to develop efficient cleaning schedules and maintain effective communication regarding facility needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness consistently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical stamina; must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
