Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Building Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing offices, restrooms, common areas, and other parts of the building to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas of the building.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, shelves, and fixtures.
• Empty trash cans and recycling bins and replace liners.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
• Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors as required.
• Monitor and report any maintenance issues such as broken fixtures or leaks.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals.
• Lock/unlock buildings or rooms according to schedule (if applicable).
• Perform deep cleaning tasks on a scheduled basis (e.g., carpet shampooing, waxing floors).

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Work Environment:

• Work may be performed during early morning, evening, or night shifts.
• May involve exposure to cleaning agents, dust, and potentially hazardous materials (with proper PPE).
• Must be comfortable working indoors and occasionally outdoors in varying temperatures.
