Building Construction Mason

Job Summary:

The Building Mason is responsible for carrying out construction and masonry work using bricks, blocks, stone, and concrete in accordance with engineering drawings, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform masonry work using bricks, blocks, stone, and concrete.
• Read and understand basic construction drawings and plans.
• Mix construction materials such as cement, sand, and mortar in correct proportions.
• Construct walls, foundations, columns, and other structural elements.
• Ensure accuracy, alignment, and level of completed work.
• Use construction tools and equipment safely and properly.
• Follow health and safety regulations on the construction site.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines.
• Clean and maintain tools and work areas after completion.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in masonry or construction work (preferred 2–5 years).
• Good knowledge of construction materials and masonry techniques.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.
• Vocational training or certification in masonry is a plus.

Required Skills:

• Strong masonry and construction skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail and workmanship quality.

Work Conditions:

Work at indoor and outdoor construction sites.

• Working hours may vary depending on project requirements.
