Building Inspection Engineer (Reserve Studies)

You will primarily be responsible for reserve studies.

Reserve studies include physical inspection of condominium and homeowners association property, preparing takeoffs, cost estimation and projection of association future capital costs, and preparation of a report summarizing your findings and analysis.

You will work directly with association boards and association managers to discuss, explain and revise the reports.

The study works as a budgeting tool to allow the association to budget for assessments from unit owners.

The position is full time and based out of our Gahanna, OH office location near Columbus.

Job Requirements

-Must enjoy and be proficient at writing and preparing quality reports

-Must be able to go into crawl spaces and attics

-Must be able to climb ladders and feel comfortable going on roofs

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

-Ability to talk directly with customers on a daily basis ("Dining Room Table Chats")

-A fascination with buildings, construction costs, and building systems.

-Desire to want to work with a high performance, highly technical team
