Building Maintenance Engineer

Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Compensation:

$25 - $27 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Keep an open line of communication with other team members and staff
• Respond to emergencies that occur outside of regular working hours
• Use a wide range of tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, indicators, edge finders, drills, wrenches, and additional equipment
• Take care of guest complaints regarding building maintenance and troubleshoot issues
• Adhere to all engineering safety norms and procedures
• Maintain all of the hotel's equipment and preventative maintenance plans

• Performs major repairs and preventative maintenance work to ensure hotel maintenance quality standards are achieved and maintained
• Responsibilities, follow Marriott standards
• Clean and maintain the amenities of hotel
• Keep grounds clear of visible trash and light landscaping
• Report any problems that would interfere with guest satisfaction
• Keep the pool areas clean and maintained
• Verify that all exterior lights are working properly
• Report and fix any safety hazards throughout the hotel
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• You should have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Applicants must have 2-4 years of experience in maintenance
