Building Maintenance Supervisor (Civil)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Building Maintenance Supervisor (Civil) to manage day-to-day operations across assigned residential buildings and/or commercial. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in facility or maintenance supervision and must hold a valid UAE driving license.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily building maintenance operations including plumbing, carpentry, and general civil works.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure service quality and cleanliness in company buildings.
• Manage a team of technicians and assign work orders, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to quality standards.
• Develop and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and enhance efficiency.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
• Liaise with clients to address maintenance requests, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory of tools, materials, and spare parts, ensuring availability for scheduled works.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and assist in preparing cost estimates for repair/maintenance jobs.
• Attend to unit-level maintenance issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Report major issues and escalation points to the Facility/Operations Manager.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Facility Management, or relevant technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in building/facility maintenance supervision (UAE experience preferred).
• Strong technical knowledge in Civil works.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Proficient in preparing maintenance reports and using MS Office or maintenance software.
• Must hold a valid UAE Driving License.

Preferred Background:

• Experience working in a facility management or maintenance company.
• Exposure to both residential and commercial properties.
• Familiarity with UAE health & safety standards and compliance requirements.
