Building Maintenance Technician

Nauru Tower, Honolulu's iconic luxury residential condominium, is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. We are looking for candidates with solid hands-on maintenance experience in residential, hotel, or commercial environments who take pride in quality workmanship, and reliability.

This position offers long-term growth with increased exposure to building systems and mechanical operations.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
The following are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required:

· Ability to perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks including painting, carpentry, drywall repair, fixture replacement, minor masonry, and pool maintenance.
· Working knowledge of hand and power tools, and general building maintenance equipment
· Familiarity with building systems such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fire life safety, elevators, generators, and water systems preferred.
· Ability to read or interpret basic plans, diagrams, or work orders (or willingness to develop this skill.)
· Physically capable of performing maintenance duties including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
· Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Professional attitude, reliability, punctuality, and strong communication skills.
· CPR / AED / First Aid certification a plus.
· Minimum 1-3 years of experience in hotel, condominium, or commercial maintenance preferred.

JOB FUNCTIONS
Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:

· Perform routine and preventative maintenance throughout the property, including common areas, lobbies, hallways, and amenities.
· Diagnose and complete repairs such as drywall, carpentry, painting, door hardware, and general upkeep.
· Monitor and assist with building systems including fire safety equipment, generators, elevators, water systems, and ventilation.
· Respond to maintenance requests and emergency calls in a timely and professional manner.
· Maintain clean, safe, and presentable building conditions at all times.
· Support management and team members with ongoing maintenance and facility needs.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

· Drug testing and background check required.
· Wages based on experience and qualifications.
