Building Materials Counter Staff

We are looking for an experienced Building Materials Counter Staff to handle customer inquiries, prepare quotations, and process sales at the counter. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1 year GCC experience in a building materials trading environment and strong product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend walk-in customers and understand their material requirements
  • Provide accurate product information, pricing, and availability
  • Prepare quotations, delivery notes, and invoices
  • Coordinate with store/warehouse for material availability and dispatch
  • Maintain counter stock display and ensure proper labeling
  • Build good relationships with contractors, suppliers, and regular customers
  • Follow company policies, pricing guidelines, and safety procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of GCC experience in building materials trading (mandatory)
  • Knowledge of building materials such as cement, steel, blocks, tiles, sanitary ware, electrical/plumbing items, etc.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple customers
  • Team player with a customer-focused attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
