Are you passionate about sustainable building design and want to join a leading independent sustainability and engineering consultancy?
We are looking for a passionate and innovative building physics engineer/sustainability consultant to join our growing Building Physics & Building Performance Engineering department. You will play a key role in delivering dynamic computer simulation models, inputting and analysing data, and liaising with design teams to support low-energy, low-carbon, and high-comfort buildings across a range of sectors. An appreciation of thermodynamics, sustainable building design, and energy systems is essential.
Working closely with architects, MEP engineers, sustainability consultants, and clients, you will influence design decisions from early concept through to detailed design and delivery, helping to ensure compliance, performance, and best practice.
Based in one of our collaborative offices, you will have the opportunity to expand your skillset and gain invaluable knowledge from other team members, whilst working closely with our other business groups.

Method operates a hybrid working policy so this will be a blend of the office and working remotely.
Salary range: £30k to £45k depending on experience.
Method Consulting is committed to ensuring that the most suitably qualified and experienced candidates are appointed to positions within the company on the basis of job-related criteria.
Assess projects against Part L/Part O, CIBSE TM52/59, EPCs, CIBSE TM54/NABERS, Passive House accreditation or compliance.
Educated to degree level in physical sciences or any engineering discipline – for example physics, mechanical or electrical engineering, building services engineering, environmental engineering or architectural engineering.
Ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of working experience in the same/similar role.
