Looking for a hands-on role where your work keeps an entire community running smoothly? Join the Floyd County Library as a Building Services Team Member and help create safe, welcoming, and functional spaces for our patrons and staff.

Schedule:
This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position that includes evenings and a rotating schedule of every other Friday and Saturday.

What You’ll Do:
No two days are the same in this dynamic role. Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating daily deliveries and pickups between library branches
• Assembling furniture and installing equipment as needed
• Performing light maintenance tasks such as painting and minor repairs
• Maintaining cleanliness and overall appearance of library facilities
• Ensuring buildings and grounds reflect and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
• Assisting with light snow removal on walkways and entry areas during winter months

What We’re Looking For:

• A reliable, self-motivated team player
• Ability to perform hands-on, physical work
• Basic maintenance and repair skills (preferred)
• Strong time management and ability to work independently
• Valid driver’s license required
