Building Technology Technician

Qualifications/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required. Successful background check required. A.A. or A.S. Degree in an IT related program (Computer Networking and Telecommunications, Computer Science, Network Administration, Systems Administration) Certifications Desired: A+

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory/Group Policy, Window Based Servers and Clients, Network Access and Security, Back-up and Data Recovery, Layer 1 networking skills, effective communication skills, problem solving ability, ability to maintain an effective, positive and professional working relationship with associates, students, and the general public, creativity and inventiveness, flexibility and self-confidence.

Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self discipline and honesty.

Specific Tasks:

Technology maintenance tasks on equipment and inventory within assigned buildings and throughout the district as needed to support the mission of Cambridge-Isanti Schools as the leader in innovative education, offering unlimited options and opportunities addressing the needs of students.
