Job Overview
We are seeking a results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) on a lucrative commission-only basis. If you are a closer who understands digital marketing, web development, and SEO services, this role offers uncapped earning potential. You will lead the end-to-end sales cycle—from prospecting to closing deals—and earn a high percentage of every contract secured.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Identify and prospect potential clients (SMEs, E-commerce brands, and local/international businesses) requiring web development, SEO, or digital marketing services.
- Outreach & Pitching: Conduct cold outreach via LinkedIn, email, Upwork, or direct calls to introduce Digital Upswing’s services.
- Deal Closure: Understand client requirements, present tailored agency proposals, handle objections, and close high-value contracts.
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with acquired clients to ensure project onboarding is smooth and explore upselling opportunities.
- Sales Strategy: Align with the founder to target high-converting niches and refine the agency’s sales pitch.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven Track Record: At least 2-5 years of experience in sales or business development specifically for a digital marketing, SEO, or software agency.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of Website Development (WordPress/Custom), Technical SEO, Paid Ads, and Automation tools.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills; ability to pitch confidently to business owners and executives.
- Platform Expertise: Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Upwork, Fiverr, or cold email outreach tools is highly preferred.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently under a remote, commission-driven structure without daily supervision.
