We are looking for an
Bunker Trader
with the following qualifications to be assigned at the
Head Office.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Shipping, Oil & Gas, or a related field
-
Back to back sales experience and in-depth knowledge of marine fuels, shipping operations, and bunker trading
-
At least 5-7 years experience as a bunker trader and strong sales track record
-
High proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage
-
Strong aptitude for numbers, analytical thinking, and negotiation
-
Customer-focused with a proactive and service-oriented mindset
-
Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
-
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
-
Proven ability to develop business and to bring in business from the outset
-
Willingness to travel on a flexible schedule
-
Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional virtual teams
AIM OF JOB
-
Conduct daily back-to-back bunker trading
-
Marketing Petrol Ofisi bunker trading business to third-party customers
-
Conducting market research to identify prospective new customers and winning new business
-
Negotiating terms and conditions for bunker supply agreements with suppliers and customers
-
Handle end-to-end trade cycle: trading, fixture/post-fixture, delivery, and payment collection
-
Drive customer satisfaction by fostering strong relationships and delivering expert advice on bunker solutions

Managing the risk management activities of the supply/sales contracts in accordance to corporate tolerances
-
Daily DER (daily exposure report) to capture exposure
-
Monitor market trends and supply chain developments to ensure competitive trading performance
-
Support monthly KPIs and assist in reaching team and office targets.

Develop a healthy sales pipeline
-
High level of customer orientation, attention to detail and able to listen and respond effectively to customer queries, solve problems, and commit to exceeding customer expectations
