Role Overview : We are looking for a talented Bus Body Designer with strong experience in Creo and a solid understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Serviceability (DFS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing robust, manufacturable, and service-friendly bus body structures and components while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer needs. Key Responsibilities • Create 3D and 2D designs for bus body structures, including interiors, exteriors, BIW components, panels, trims, doors, windows, roof systems, luggage compartments, etc. • Develop detailed CAD models and engineering drawings using Creo Parametric. • Apply DFM, DFA, and DFS principles to ensure designs are production-ready, easy to assemble, and service-friendly. • Perform packaging studies and layout creation for vehicle integration. • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Electrical, Chassis, Quality, and Homologation teams for design feasibility. • Ensure adherence to AIS, CMVR, and other automotive regulatory/homologation standards. • Participate in design reviews, engineering change management, and cost reduction exercises. • Prepare and manage BOM, technical documentation, and revision control. • Support prototype build, testing, and production ramp-up by resolving design-related issues. • Good knowledge of sheet metal, FRP, welding, and assembly manufacturing processes. • Familiarity with automotive standards and regulatory requirements. • Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and engineering best practices. • Ability to interpret customer specifications and convert them into feasible design solutions. • Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
