Bus & Dish Person

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic person to join our team in a vibrant restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant. The bus person/dishwasher position assists the waitstaff and kitchen team, contributing to the overall efficiency of our food service operations.

Duties

• Clear and clean tables promptly after guests finish their meals to prepare for new customers.
• Assist in setting up dining areas for banquets and special events, ensuring all necessary items are in place.
• Support food service staff by refilling drinks, delivering bread or condiments, and assisting with food preparation as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies.
• Help with catering events by preparing food stations and assisting with service as required.
• Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment for both staff and guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus.
• Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to lift and carry items as needed, ensuring efficient service during busy periods.
• A willingness to help out in various kitchen tasks, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.13 - $13.00 per hour
