Afternoon Cook / Van Driver / Closing Support Staff

Angel Watch Academy – Cypress, TX

Angel Watch Academy is seeking a dependable, consistent, and team-oriented individual to join our childcare team in a full-time afternoon support role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable supporting both kitchen operations and classroom needs.

We are looking for a reliable team member who can work Monday–Friday and assist with meal preparation, school transportation, and end-of-day closing responsibilities.

Schedule Options:

• 11:00 AM – 6:30 PM (30-minute break) Responsibilities Include:Kitchen Duties
• Prepare and serve daily student lunch
• Cook and/or prep meals for the following day(s)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen area
• Follow food program guidelines for safe food handling
• Wash dishes and sanitize all food prep areas
• Ensure proper food storage and labeling

Classroom Support

• Assist with teacher lunch break rotation
• Supervise children as needed to maintain ratios
• Support classroom staff with transitions and daily routines

Transportation Duties

• Drive childcare van to pick up school-age children from local elementary schools
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of students
• Follow all transportation safety procedures

Afternoon & Closing Duties

• Supervise school-age children during outdoor play
• Serve afternoon supper/snack
• Clean and sanitize restroom areas
• Clean classrooms and hallways
• Take out trash and prepare school for next day operations
• Ensure facility is clean, safe, and ready for opening staff

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and FBI fingerprinting
• Ability to meet minimum standards for childcare licensing
• Previous childcare and/or kitchen experience preferred
• Must be dependable and punctual
