Responsibilities

• Safely operate different types of buses such as school buses, motor coaches, shuttle vehicles, and paratransit vans according to scheduled routes and passenger needs
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and proper maintenance standards are met
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting passengers warmly, assisting with boarding and alighting, and addressing any questions or concerns professionally
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe transportation at all times
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, passenger counts, and any incidents or maintenance issues during shifts
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, passengers, and team members using clear language and proper radio procedures
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report mechanical or safety concerns promptly to ensure vehicle reliability

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for bus operation
• Proven experience in bus driving, shuttle driving, or delivery driver roles with a focus on safety and customer service
• Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems to assist with basic troubleshooting and maintenance awareness
• Experience operating motor coaches, school buses, paratransit vehicles or limousine services is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with passengers and team members
• Knowledge of traffic laws related to bus driving and safety regulations applicable in your area
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as assisting passengers with mobility aids or loading/unloading luggage when necessary

Pay: $22.39 - $26.96 per hour
