Bus driver full time

Job Summary:

The Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting company employees, labor, and visitors between accommodations, project sites, and offices. The role requires strict adherence to UAE traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards to ensure smooth and efficient transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company buses to transport employees to and from work sites, camps, and offices.
• Ensure timely pickup and drop-off of workers as per the daily transport schedule.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bus at all times.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, tires, lights, brakes, etc.) before starting duty.
• Report any mechanical issues, damages, or required maintenance to the Transport Supervisor immediately.
• Adhere strictly to RTA and UAE traffic regulations and company safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Assist in transporting materials, tools, or small equipment when required.
• Ensure passengers follow safety rules (e.g., seat belts, no standing while bus is moving).
• Support in emergency evacuations, site transfers, and special events transportation as instructed.
• Maintain courteous and professional behavior with staff and colleagues.
• Assist in the renewal and submission of vehicle documents when required (registration, insurance, etc.).
• Report any accidents or traffic violations immediately to the Admin/Transport Department.
• Coordinate closely with the HR/Transport team for changes in route or shift schedules.
• Ensure that no unauthorized passengers or goods are transported in company vehicles.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management related to transportation or logistics.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid UAE Heavy Bus Driving License (Category 6).
• Minimum 3–5 years of driving experience in the UAE, preferably within a construction or contracting company.
• Good knowledge of Dubai and UAE road networks and traffic regulations
• Physically fit and alert, with a responsible and safety-conscious attitude.
• Punctual, disciplined, and professional appearance.
