Bus Mechanic

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team. The Mechanic will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on our diesel and gasoline powered buses and cars. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing issues as well as working on brakes, oil, electrical issues, A/C experience is a plus, etc... and the desire to learn new skills.

Reliable Transportation is a Sedan and BUS company in San Diego. We are professional, agile and our goal is to find a bus and car mechanic to service and maintain a fleet of 15 vehicles. 8 Diesel vehicles and 7 Gasoline. Looking for a stable schedule and a mechanic who has experience and is knowledgeable about both gas and diesel engines..

Qualifications

• Breaks certification (BIG PLUS)
• A/C experience is a plus
• Valid Driver's License
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in diesel repair a plus
• Ability to lift 50 - 60 lbs.
• Ability to work as needed, including Saturdays and Sundays when needed.
• MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS - We have some tools
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues on buses

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on our diesel and gas powered vehicles.
• Diagnose, repair, or perform additional work as needed.
• Work with other mechanics, Diesel Technician technicians, and project managers to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service.
• Work with quality control department to ensure that all parts are of high quality.
• Maintain a clean work area at all times. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
