ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to understand business needs, translate them into clear requirements, and ensure successful delivery of solutions. The role requires strong analytical skills, documentation capabilities, and the ability to collaborate across teams.
Key Responsibilities
REQUIREMENT GATHERING & ANALYSIS
Interact with business users to understand processes, pain points, and functional requirements.
Conduct workshops, interviews, and requirement discovery sessions.
Analyze business needs and translate them into BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria.
SOLUTION DESIGN SUPPORT
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and development teams to propose feasible solutions.
Document “as-is” and “to-be” process flows using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro.
Participate in feasibility studies and impact analysis.
DOCUMENTATION & COMMUNICATION
Prepare detailed requirement documentation, functional specifications, and workflow diagrams.
Maintain product backlogs, user stories, and sprint artifacts.
Communicate requirements clearly to technical and QA teams.
TESTING & VALIDATION
Support QA in preparing test scenarios and reviewing test results.
Perform UAT coordination, tracking issues, and ensuring sign-off from business.
Validate delivered features against requirements.
STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
Act as a bridge between business and technical teams.
Manage priorities, expectations, and communication with stakeholders.
Provide regular status updates and support decision-making.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Support change management and training activities.
Contribute to product roadmaps and strategic initiatives.
