Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Digital, Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will leverage data to generate actionable insights, improve decision-making processes, and help the business achieve strategic goals. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments, build dashboards, analyse trends, and support data-driven initiatives.

• Key Responsibilities:

· Collect, clean, and analyze large sets of data from various sources (internal & external).
· Design, build, and maintain reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
· Work with business teams to understand data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
· Conduct ad hoc and regular analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies.
· Provide actionable insights to stakeholders to drive business improvements.
· Assist in developing predictive models or decision-support tools (with Data Scientists, if applicable).
· Monitor KPIs and performance metrics, proactively flagging issues or opportunities.
· Document processes, findings, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.

7. Required Skills & Qualifications

· Proficiency in SQL – ability to write optimized, complex queries.

· Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, and scripting.

· Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) – understanding data storage, Big Query, cloud functions, etc.

· Experience building automations (e.g., automated reports, data pipelines, task automation).

· Proficient in BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.

· Strong skills in Excel and Google Sheets – advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts, etc.

· Proficiency with the Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Drive, etc.) for collaboration and reporting.

· Solid understanding of how businesses operate – ability to tie data insights to business outcomes.

· Strong communication and storytelling skills – ability to present data clearly to non-technical audiences.

· High attention to detail, with a problem-solving mindset.
