Business Analyst

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between IT and business objectives by analyzing data and providing actionable insights. This position requires a strong foundation in data analysis, project management, and familiarity with various analytical tools and methodologies. The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
• Utilize data analysis skills to interpret complex datasets and provide insights that drive business decisions.
• Develop and maintain reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
• Participate in Agile project management methodologies to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
• Design databases and manage ETL processes using tools like Talend, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users on new systems or processes.
• Create process flow diagrams using Visio to illustrate business processes.
• Employ programming languages such as Python, R, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell) for data manipulation and analysis.
• Ensure data integrity through effective database design and management practices.

Experience

• Proven experience in business analysis or related field with a strong understanding of analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and conducting data analysis.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of database design principles and ETL processes is essential.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information effectively.
