Summary:
Flatter, Inc. (Flatter) is seeking experienced Business Analysts (Mid-Level) to support USDA operations in St. Louis, MO. This role will focus on analyzing, documenting, and improving business processes related to USDA loan programs and systems. The Business Analyst will work as a liaison between stakeholders, technical teams, and business units to ensure system requirements and process improvements align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for USDA loan-related systems and processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, end users, and technical teams to translate requirements into actionable solutions.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, process gaps, and opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Support the design, testing, and implementation of system enhancements within USDA loan systems (e.g., GUS and related platforms).
- Develop workflow diagrams, process maps, and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Prepare reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
- Provide training and ongoing support to users of USDA loan systems.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3–5 years of business analysis experience, preferably within financial services, mortgage, or government loan programs.
- USDA Expertise: Prior experience supporting USDA loan programs and systems is required.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, process documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Visio (or similar diagramming tools), and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with Agile or other SDLC methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field preferred.
