Description:
Working under the guidance of the Director of Quality, Compliance and Strategic Project Management, the Business Analyst is responsible for evaluating and tracking the effectiveness of processes and workflows across all organizational operations. The Analyst identifies improvement opportunities, provides recommendations, and supports teams in enhancing PACE services through mission-driven, sustainable, and cost-effective improvement strategies. The Analyst compiles data on a scheduled or ad-hoc basis and presents complete and accurate information to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Develops a strong understanding of the operations and needs of each department.

Ensures PACE expenditures are accurate, appropriate, and aligned with the functional requirements of each service area.

Analyzes and monitors expenses to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.

Collaborates closely with organizational leadership to create effective workflows and tools that support mission-driven operations and high-quality care outcomes.

Maintains awareness of the resources used by each business unit and their high-priority service goals.

Translates user needs into functional requirements and works with IT staff to develop design specifications.

Produces reports in Excel or other appropriate platforms to support operational and business decision-making.

Assists leadership in analyzing staffing ratios to ensure departments are properly staffed to achieve productivity, cost-efficiency, and quality care objectives.

Actively supports the development and ongoing updates of Policies and Procedures.

Participates in staff meetings, in-services, committee work, and assigned projects.

Follows and supports the organization’s practices, procedures, and policies, including attendance and break schedules.

Performs assigned duties cooperatively and handles additional tasks as needed.

Maintains flexibility with work schedule and hours.

Adhere to and support the center’s practices, procedures, and policies including assigned break times and attendance.

Education & Training

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Management or related field.

Experience working in a health care setting required

Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience working with a frail or elderly population or in a healthcare setting.
