Business Analyst

Position title:

Lead Business Analyst - Real-Time Market Data

Salary: Will be decided upon experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of Streaming Market Data Business Analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Define and maintain standards for requirements documentation and analysis.
• Own requirements and testing strategy for multiple data sources and client interfaces.
• Partner with product and technology teams to prioritise features and manage delivery timelines.
• Communicate progress and risks to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 8 years' experience, including 5+ years in real-time market data or financial technology, including market data protocols (e.g. FIX, ITCH or similar) and data distribution technologies (e.g. multicast SBE distribution, API-based delivery).
• Proven leadership experience managing Business Analysts or similar roles. Strong understanding of streaming data concepts and integration practices.
• Hands-on experience with requirements engineering and agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages (e.g. Python), version control tools (e.g. Git), agile project tools (e.g. Jira), and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Fluent in English with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred skills:

• Experience in migration or modernisation projects.
• Technical proficiency for data validation and analysis.
