Business Analyst

Business Analyst | Software Company

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our software development team and take an active role in analyzing business needs, defining system requirements, and supporting the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

This role involves close collaboration with international stakeholders. English is the primary working language, and a C1+ level of proficiency is required.

Candidates with German language skills will be given priority.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
• Act as a bridge between business units and software development teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Support development and QA teams during design, implementation, testing, and release phases
• Ensure requirements are clear, complete, prioritized, and aligned with business objectives
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews
• Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies within requirements and propose effective solutions
• Contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis standards, documentation quality, and delivery processes

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Proven experience in producing high-quality documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories, process diagrams)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• C1+ level English proficiency (written and spoken) , with the ability to work confidently in meetings, workshops, and documentation
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across both technical and non-technical teams
• Experience with tools such as Jira

Nice to Have

• German language skills (preferred)
• Technical background or hands-on experience working closely with development teams
• Familiarity with system integrations, APIs, or data-driven products
