Business Analyst
Location : Kochi, Kerala (Kerala candidates only)
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with approximately 5 years of professional experience in requirements analysis, stakeholder management, and business process optimization. The ideal candidate will act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business needs are clearly understood, documented, and translated into effective solutions that drive measurable value.
Key Responsibilities-Business Analysis & Requirements Management
- Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements using appropriate techniques such as workshops, interviews, and document analysis.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain end-to-end traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Work closely with business users, product owners, project managers, and technical teams to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.
- Facilitate requirement walkthroughs, solution reviews, and UAT sessions with stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor by recommending process improvements and solution options based on business needs.
Process Analysis & Improvement
- Analyze current-state business processes and identify inefficiencies, gaps, and risks.
- Design and document future-state processes that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support change management initiatives by assessing business impact and defining transition requirements.
Solution Validation & Delivery Support
- Support development and QA teams by clarifying requirements and resolving ambiguities.
- Assist in test case preparation and user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business expectations.
- Validate delivered solutions against agreed requirements and business objectives.
Data & Reporting Support (where applicable)
- Collaborate with data, analytics, or reporting teams to define reporting requirements, KPIs, and dashboards.
- Perform basic data analysis to support business decisions and validate outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in medium to large-scale projects.
- Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management.
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery environments.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques (BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows, wireframes).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in domain-specific areas such as banking, finance, retail, healthcare, or technology (as applicable).
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, or similar platforms.
- Business analysis or Agile certifications (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, CSM) are an advantage.
