Job Summary
The Business Analyst will evaluate current business processes, collect and analyse quantitative and qualitative data, and identify areas for operational improvement. Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, this role will define requirements, develop strategic solutions, and support implementation—from conceptualization through UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and change management. The ideal candidate will leverage insights from ongoing projects to inform future decision-making, align efforts with long-term organizational goals, and drive sustainable growth.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Understand Business Needs & Gather Requirements:
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify, gather, and document detailed business requirements and user stories.
  • Analyse existing business processes, workflows, and data to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Prioritize requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Process Analysis & Improvement:
  • Evaluate current systems and processes to detect inefficiencies.
  • Develop optimized workflows and align processes with business strategies.
  • Use tools like flowcharts to document processes and suggest automation or other improvement strategies.
  • Future State Planning & Technology Scouting:
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends (e.g., AI, RPA, cloud, IoT, blockchain).
  • Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for new technologies.
  • Recommend technology solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Implement Business Solutions:
  • Design and implement effective business systems and process solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful solution deployment.
  • Monitor implementation to ensure it meets business needs.
  • Project Management & Testing:
  • Oversee end-to-end project execution including planning, scheduling, and stakeholder communication.
  • Develop test plans, perform UAT, integration, and regression testing.
  • Document and track issues and ensure quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Reporting & Market Research:
  • Create and maintain detailed reports, dashboards, and performance insights.
  • Conduct market research to analyse trends and assess competitive landscapes.
  • Present findings to support strategic business decisions.

Skills & Requirements
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities with hands-on experience in business analysis.
  • Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, along with documentation tools like Visio and PowerPoint.
  • Solid understanding of business analysis methodologies (SWOT, BPMN, Agile) and SDLC processes.
  • Experience in business process modeling, requirement gathering, and documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and technical teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role; exposure to IT systems and data analytics is a plus.
