Job Title: Technical Writer / Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer / Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The role involves gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and producing high-quality technical and functional documentation for stakeholders, developers, and end users.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and requirement elicitation sessions.
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements .
• Create BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents) , and user stories.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and success criteria.
• Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validate deliverables against requirements.

Technical Writing

• Develop and maintain clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
• Create user manuals, API documentation, SOPs, knowledge base articles, release notes , and technical guides.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and product managers to understand system functionality.
• Ensure documentation follows organizational standards and version control practices.
• Simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Technical Skills

• Documentation Tools: MS Word, Confluence, SharePoint, MadCap Flare
• BA Tools: JIRA, Trello, Visio, Lucidchart
• Understanding of APIs, databases, and system architecture
• Basic knowledge of SQL, JSON/XML (preferred)
• Version Control: Git (basic understanding)
