The Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting business performance by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing insights that drive strategic and operational decisions. This includes working closely with Finance and Project teams on financial analysis, forecasting support, reporting, process improvement, and performance tracking.

The role will focus on translating complex data into clear recommendations, supporting planning cycles, improving reporting frameworks, and ensuring alignment with company standards, procedures, and regional requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Gathering and analyzing data to create actional outcomes
Reviewing business processes and recommending improvements
Assisting with management of projects for selected improvement projects
Coordinating with various departments outside of finance
Identifying automation opportunities
Creating reports, dashboards or visualizations
Using financial systems and software

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Expert level in FICO systems. Professional level experience in accounting, finance reporting standards (including IFRS and GAAP) and MS Office suite.
English, fluent proficiency verbal and written
Evidence of experience in a similar role, ideally in any/some of the following sectors: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining
4 years of relevant work experience
A bachelor’s degree in a finance or economic discipline
