Business Analyst
Overview:
Qualifications:
The Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This role requires a detail-oriented, analytical individual who can take initiative, multitask effectively, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. The Business Analyst will collaborate with clients, vendors, IT teams, leadership, and operations to ensure successful outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project objectives.
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives.
- Create detailed documentation of requirements, workflows, and outcomes to support project development and implementation.
- Propose and implement solutions that align with business goals, enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Generate reports to communicate findings and insights effectively to stakeholders and management.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key systems and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and identify process improvements.
- Partner with project managers and senior leadership to align IT initiatives with business goals.
- Work with urgency and adaptability in a high-growth environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT; healthcare experience preferred.
- At least 2 years as a Business Analyst with experience in requirements elicitation and documentation.
- Strong technical aptitude with troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word).
- Experience creating screen mocks and diagramming process flows.
- Familiarity with project tracking tools is preferred.
- Agile methodology and product ownership experience is preferred
