ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Long Beach, CA. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for translating business goals, user needs, and operational challenges into structured insights and into clear requirements. This consists of analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting business requirements, and identifying opportunities for improvement. You will work closely with product leaders, engineers, designers, and project managers to analyze system behavior, document requirements, and support feature planning across Station’s Interchange platform. This role requires strong analytical thinking, technical curiosity, and the ability to organize complex information into clear documentation and actionable insights.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business and Product Analysis

Analyze product features, user behavior, and system interactions to identify improvements and new opportunities.

Break down complex concepts into structured requirements, user flows, and documentation.

Document workflows, system behavior, and integration points across Station’s platform.
Requirements and Documentation

Translate business objectives into clear product requirements and acceptance criteria.

Maintain organized documentation in Jira and within the Office 365 suite.

Create diagrams, workflows, and presentation that explain system behavior.
Technical Collaboration

Work with engineering teams to understand APIs, integrations, and data flows.

Develop working knowledge of Station’s Interchange modules including identity, analytics, orchestration, AI chat, and device connectivity.

Help identify integration points between mobile apps, cloud services, IoT devices, and analytics systems.
Analytical Insight

Analyze product and operational data to understand user behavior and platform performance.

Support decision making by clearly framing tradeoffs, risks, and potential impacts.
AI and Emerging Technology

Stay informed about evolving AI capabilities and how they influence digital products.

Support experimentation with AI enabled features and AI enhanced workflows .

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
-
1 to 5 years of experience in business analysis, product analysis, consulting, or similar analytical roles.

Strong analytical thinking and ability to structure ambiguous problems.

Comfort discussing APIs, integrations, and data flows.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Highly organized with strong documentation habits.

Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
Preferred

Experience with digital platforms, SaaS products, mobile apps, or IoT systems.

Interest in marketing, customer engagement, user experience, or AI LLM tools.

Exposure to AI enabled products, or automation tools

Proficient in Office 365 Suite

Familiarity with Atlassian Products and Notification or Analytics platforms.
