Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Business Analyst to support the delivery of complex case management and public-sector modernization initiatives. The role focuses on requirements gathering, process optimization, and stakeholder engagement to ensure effective system design and implementation. The ideal candidate will translate complex operational needs into clear, actionable requirements that support Agile delivery teams and drive meaningful program outcomes .

Responsibilities:

· Lead requirements elicitation sessions with stakeholders, including corrections staff, reentry coordinators, parole/probation officers, and community-based organizations.

· Translate complex program, policy, and operational needs into clear, actionable business and functional requirements.
Develop user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria aligned with Agile methodologies.

Ensure requirements are clearly documented, maintained, and traceable throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications:

● Experience as a Business Analyst on technology or process-focused projects

● Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC concepts

● Experience in case management, public sector, or human services environments preferred

● Strong skills in requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder facilitation

● Experience supporting UAT and QA processes

● Familiarity with data reporting and business intelligence concepts

● Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

● Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and distributed teams

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

● Experience in corrections, justice, workforce development, housing, or behavioral health domains

● Exposure to system integrations and enterprise data exchange

● Experience working with Agile tools such as Jira

● Experience with Business Process Reengineering (BPR) initiatives

● Scrum Master experience or Agile facilitation exposure (not required)

● Agile or BA certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSPO, etc.) is a plus
