Position requires a qualified applicant to provide technological analysis for system software that supports the ongoing goals and mission of Client.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Understanding of agency mission, vision, goals, user groups, business processes, and workflows and how MaGIK supports client business units.

Work at the highest level of information systems analysis while considering technical and business implications of technology applications and process improvements for current and future business environments.

Promote the use of technical services to resolve business issues within the agency, division, or program area.

Deliver technical business solutions while managing expectations of customers, stakeholders, peers, and management.

Conduct daily interaction with MaGIK sub-teams including software development, quality assurance, systems support, and project management including status updates, project planning, resource planning, issue management, and information updates.

Formulate and define systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with understanding of user needs, business systems, and industry requirements for performance improvement projects.

Meet regularly with stakeholders and management to provide project and status updates.

Ensure business and user needs are met with timely and accurate service. Coordinate with project managers to ensure schedules and compliance.

Participate in development of technical standards, procedures, and policies.

Perform related duties as assigned.

Apply business analysis methodologies including wireframing, conceptual design, functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, traceability matrices, workflow development, and system testing documentation.

Deep understanding of financial workflows and ability to translate complex financial operations into scalable IT system requirements and configurations.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Project, and Visio. Experience with Salesforce, Jira, and Axure RP is a plus.

Expertise in full software development lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing, code review, and production support.

Strong understanding of QA and testing approaches.

Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and IT governance frameworks.

Ability to quickly learn client information systems and operations.

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to collaborate with technical teams and client staff.

Knowledge of quality assurance, strategic planning, and process improvement practices.

Ability to stay current with emerging technologies relevant to client systems and provide recommendations to leadership.
