Job Overview
IOK (The Institute of Knowledge) is seeking a talented and motivated Business Analyst to join our dedicated team. This is a full-time position within a dynamic, mission-driven organisation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting IOK's mission to foster a finer future by analysing our processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting strategic initiatives across our diverse educational programmes. You will work closely with various departments to enhance our operational efficiency and help us continue to provide high-quality programming that connects individuals with valuable Islamic resources.
The salary for this role is between $40,000 and $50,000 USD per annum, dependent on experience.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with key stakeholders across our school, seminaries, and community programmes to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
* Evaluate existing business processes, identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement, and recommend practical solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
* Perform data analysis to generate insights on programme performance, enrolment trends, and other key metrics, preparing clear and concise reports for management.
* Support the planning, development, and implementation of new projects and technological systems from conception to completion.
* Act as a vital link between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into functional specifications.
* Assist in the creation of user documentation and training materials to support the implementation of new processes and systems.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably within the education or non-profit sector.
* A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Proficiency in data analysis and business modelling tools; experience with Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
* A self-starter with strong organisational and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities.
* An appreciation for the mission and values of The Institute of Knowledge would be a significant advantage.
