Business Analyst-Accounting

Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a Large Bank in Little Rock, AR to find a Business Analyst-Accounting to join their team.

The Business Analyst-Accounting reports to the Controller and partners with the Accounting functions to understand needs, lead projects, and improve processes while implementing software solutions that drive efficiency. This role also supports key technology platforms and helps translate business needs into practical, system-based solutions.

Location: Little Rock, AR (local candidates only – must currently reside in the area)

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with subject matter experts to gather and document business requirements and understand operational needs
• Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables while leading initiatives to enhance or implement business solutions
• Evaluate current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and lead efforts to research, test, and implement approved enhancements

Ideal candidate will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis, project management, or loan accounting
• Knowledge of loan accounting systems, accounting principles, and GAAP required
• Ability to analyze processes and coordinate projects from planning through implementation
• Experience creating technical documentation and training materials
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to support and improve technology solutions across teams
• Must currently reside in the Little Rock, AR area (relocation not provided)
