Job Summary
The Tender & Business Project Manager will oversee the complete project lifecycle — from identifying relevant tenders and analyzing client requirements to defining project scope, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring successful project delivery.
This role acts as the strategic bridge between clients, management, and the technical team, ensuring every project is executed on time, within scope, and at the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Tender Management
- Identify and shortlist relevant government and private tenders.
- Analyze eligibility criteria, technical requirements, and submission guidelines.
- Prepare technical and financial bid documents in collaboration with management.
- Submit tenders through platforms such as GeM, CPPP, BidAssist, etc., and track submission outcomes.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of submitted bids, results, and ongoing project statuses.
2. Business Consulting & Requirement Analysis
- Understand client objectives, challenges, and key expectations.
- Analyze tender documents to define precise project requirements and deliverables.
- Prepare project proposals, Scope of Work (SOW) documents, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with the CEO and technical team to finalize pricing, timelines, and deliverables.
- Present project proposals to clients and address queries prior to project award.
3. Project Planning & Team Coordination
- Develop detailed project plans, outlining milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Communicate project scope and timelines to the Team Lead and development team.
- Break down projects into manageable tasks and assign responsibilities.
- Conduct daily or weekly stand-up meetings to review progress and address roadblocks.
- Identify potential risks and proactively implement corrective measures.
4. Monitoring, Quality Control & Delivery
- Track progress using project management tools (Trello, ClickUp, Jira, etc.).
- Review ongoing work to ensure compliance with project scope and quality standards.
- Ensure milestones are approved by management and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal testing prior to client demonstrations.
- Oversee final delivery to ensure alignment with agreed timelines and specifications.
5. Client Communication & Relationship Management
- Serve as the single point of contact for clients throughout project execution.
- Provide regular progress reports and performance updates.
- Manage client feedback, revisions, and scope adjustments effectively.
- Maintain client satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships for repeat business.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, IT, or Management (or a related field).
- 3–6 years of experience in tender management, IT business development, or project management (preferred).
- Strong understanding of software, web, and mobile application development lifecycles.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
- Proficient with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, ClickUp, or Asana.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving capabilities.
Tools Knowledge (Preferred)
- Tender Portals: GeM, CPPP, BidAssist, TenderTiger, etc.
- Documentation Tools: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace.
- Project Management: Jira, Trello, ClickUp, Asana.
- Communication Platforms: Slack, Microsoft Teams, or equivalent.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
