The Business Analyst is a strategic individual contributor role reporting directly to the COO. This role focuses on translating operational processes into clear, user-friendly content for staff, ensuring efficient workflows and consistent training standards.
The analyst will conduct structured interviews and working sessions with frontline and management staff across all departments to document existing workflows and standard operating procedures with precision and clarity. Facilitating standardization of documented processes and supporting the roll out and adoption of — serving as both a communicator and a change-management resource.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct structured interviews and observation sessions with operational staff across to document current workflows, procedures, and pain points

Develop comprehensive current-state process maps and written SOPs

Present findings to the COO and leadership in a clear, organized, and actionable manner

Collaborate with management teams to design, refine, and formally record updated standard operating procedures that reflect best practices

Support the rollout of new standardized processes, including coordinating communication, training materials, and adoption tracking

Maintain a centralized initiative tracker covering active projects and priorities across the company

Produce regular status reports and executive summaries for the COO on the progress of key initiatives

Identify gaps, redundancies, or inconsistencies in current processes and escalate findings with recommended solutions

Serve as a liaison between the COO's office and department-level staff during process improvement and change management efforts

Maintain organized documentation libraries ensuring all SOPs and process records are version-controlled and accessible
Experience Requirements:

2-4 years in an operations, process improvement, business analyst, or operations coordinator role

Demonstrated experience documenting business processes and developing standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Experience building and maintaining initiative trackers, dashboards, or executive reporting tools

A basic understanding of LLM and AI tools to streamline business processes and materials

Prior exposure to change management or organizational development initiatives

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is a plus
Skill Requirements:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify process gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to conduct interviews, present findings, and document SOPs clearly

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation, data tracking, and reporting

Experience creating clear, structured SOPs, process maps, and workflow documentation

Familiarity with data visualization and dashboard tools to track initiatives and report progress

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and support change management initiatives

Strong attention to detail, consistency, and document control/versioning practices

Experience using AI/LLM tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to streamline documentation and business processes

Ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain initiative trackers, executive summaries, and status reports
Physical Demands:
