Business Analyst (banking/financial services/insurance) - Mason, Ohio (Onsite)

Role: Business Analyst (banking/financial services/insurance)

Duration: 6 to 12 months (Contract to hire)

This role is 100% onsite in downtown Cincinnati (45202).

Note:

We need a tried-and-true business analyst.

They are WATERFALL but like people who can navigate between agile and waterfall.

Someone from a banking/financial services/insurance background is ideal, but they are very open to any and all industries.

Time Allocation

• 50% Requirements Gathering & Documentation

• 25% User Stories & Sprint Support

• 25% Research, Testing & Defect Remediation

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience working as a Business Analyst

• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements in Agile environments

• Strong experience creating user stories and supporting sprint-based development teams

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to facilitate meetings and work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail

• Self-starter who demonstrates initiative, flexibility, and transparency

• Technical aptitude with the ability to understand system integrations, data flows, and technical concepts
