Job Title: Business Analyst / Clinical Analyst
Department: Project Implementation
• Key Responsibilities:•
- Perform product demo/ application walkthrough.
- Perform business requirement study specific to non-clinical, clinical and clinical support services.
- Facilitate business process re-engineering (BPR), business process alignment (BPA) and related activities.
- Assist in project documentation such as Business Process Alignment (BPA), and the Business Requirement Document (BRD).
- Function as a team member during project implementation
- Perform system set-up and configuration - creation of users, clinical/nursing note types, forms, checklists and nursing charts.
- Data management – Initiate data collection and assist clients during the process, involving activities, such as compilation, verification and loading (front end), if required.
- Perform system testing on newly developed modules / functionalities • Develop user guides and training manuals.
- Conduct master user and end-user training.
- Prepare Functional Acceptance Test (FAT) and User Acceptance Test (UAT) scripts.
- Perform Functional Acceptance Test (FAT) and facilitate User Acceptance Test (UAT).
- Provide Go-live support and handholding of users during project implementation.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements based on clinical feedback.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Nursing, Pharmacy, Medicine, Health Sciences, or any related healthcare field.
- 2–5 years of work experience in healthcare settings preferred.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows in hospitals, clinics, telemedicine, or pharmacy settings. • Experience working with Hospital Information System (HIS), Patient Management System (PMS), Laboratory Information System (LIS), or other healthcare systems.
- Ability to translate clinical needs into structured documentation (BRD, SRS, SOP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Technical Skills (Preferred)
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Basic understanding of APIs and system integrations.
- Knowledge of healthcare coding standards (ICD-10/11, ICD-9-CM, CPT, SNOMED) is an added advantage.
